The Forest Beach District is a vibrant hub of community, tourism, and recreation on Hilton Head Island. Renowned for its iconic beaches, lively retail and dining scene, and beloved landmarks like Coligny Beach Park and Lowcountry Celebration Park, this district embodies the heart of Island life for both residents and visitors.
As part of the Districts Area Planning Project, your input is key to shaping the future of Forest Beach. Together, we can enhance its unique charm, preserve its natural beauty, and support thoughtful development that maintains its status as a premier destination on Hilton Head Island.
The Forest Beach District boasts over 2.5 miles of stunning beach frontage along the Atlantic Ocean. Its main entry point is where Pope Avenue crosses Cordillo Parkway. The district is bounded to the north by the Shipyard planned development and stretches southward to the confluence of South Forest Beach Drive and Cordillo Parkway, where these roads transition into Sea Pines Drive.
This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete - a small amount of time to have some big impact. Your insights are very important as we enter the next phase of this planning and collaborate with the district community to determine next steps. Thank you for your time and thoughtful ideas.
