Parkway Arts District Plan Community Survey
The Parkway Arts District is Hilton Head Island’s vibrant hub for culture, commerce, and community life. As the anchor of the Island’s arts and cultural identity, the district is home to iconic venues like the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina and encompasses a third of the Island’s retail and office space. This dynamic area plays a pivotal role in the Island’s economy, creativity, and sense of community.
As part of the Districts Area Planning Project, the future of the Parkway Arts District is being shaped with your input. Together, we aim to ensure this area remains a thriving, innovative, and sustainable destination for residents and visitors, celebrating its unique blend of commerce and culture.
Geographically, the Parkway Arts District spans 3.5 miles along William Hilton Parkway, stretching from the northern end of Shelter Cove Lane to the intersection of Arrow Road and William Hilton Parkway. It includes notable landmarks such as Shelter Cove Marina and Hilton Head Town Hall, forming a corridor that blends natural beauty, cultural vibrancy, and economic opportunity.
As we plan for its future, your input will ensure it remains a thriving, creative, and sustainable part of the community. This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete - a small amount of time to have some big impact. Your opinions and knowledge are very important as we move into the next phase of this planning and as we work with the district community to make decisions about next steps. Thank you for your time and thoughtful ideas.
