CDBG Program Year 2021 Consolidated End-of-Year Review

The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) conducted the Program Year 2021 Consolidated End-of-Year Review for the Town of Hilton Head Island Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This review assesses the Town's administration of the CDBG program for the reporting period covering July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. HUD determined there are concerns the Town may not meet the CDBG timely expenditure standard required in accordance with 24 CFR 570.902(a)(1)(i) by the date of its next timeliness test.  HUD advised the Town should expedite project completion to demonstrate that it is administering the CDBG in accordance with Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, as amended; and applicable laws and implementing regulations.
