Perhaps we can bring white sand to our beach, as they have in Sunny Isles. We have a very small beach, and I believe the beautification of the beach will reduce waste. If the area is clean, human nature is such, that it will be kept clean.

The Vietnamese community, led by my fellow teacher, Teresa Vu thi Ngoc ( [email protected] ) provided seeds and instructions to our school's garden club. The Our Lady of La Vang Vietnamese Mission at 123 NW 6th Ave. Hallandale, FL 33009 helped our students so much. Also, Scott Lewis and SlowFoods Arc of Taste and Miramar UMC Roland Abel's CSG at 3700 Largo Drive Miramar https://www.miramarfl.gov/505/About-the-Garden provided an immersion experience. Tree Amigos in Davie also helped our students experience local sustainability practices. https://www.treeamigosgrowers.com/shop/8 Faith based congregations from all over are attending to address needs of our Earth home. Thank you for your active listening, Carrie Roach [email protected]
