Will you be considering policies for these situations:
1. Employees who get called in on holidays, weekends and evenings. Because we may have a holiday that week, they don't receive any overtime even if they are working Christmas.
2. Minimum hours for call in pay. Currently if an employee is called in on weekend, evening or holiday, they only log the hours once they reach the building. For example, if there is no heat in a building they might only log a half hour because they could reset it easily.
3. A pay structure for being on call. If a technician is on call for a weekend, they are required to stay close, but only receive pay for the hours they are actually called in.

With the compensation study, has it been addressed about compensation for essential personnel during county closures? I have seen policies from other counties where employees required to work during a closure (i.e. snow day, disaster, etc.) are compensated at 1.5 times normal pay during the closure.
Open Town Hall is not a certified voting system or ballot box. As with any public comment process, participation in Open Town Hall is voluntary. The questions in this record are not necessarily representative of the whole population, nor do they reflect the opinions of any government agency or elected officials.
