Would you prefer the Voter Service and Polling Center be at (pick one)?

The Gilpin County Clerk & Recorders office solicited Public Comments from March 3 to May 2, 2022 in regard to the location of the November 8, 2022 General Election Voter Service and Polling Center (CRS 1-5-102.9). Gilpin County strives to make voting easy and accessible to all its residents. The ultimate goal is to ensure that we are inspiring as many residents as possible to vote.

In the survey, The Community Center and the Old Courthouse were the top locations chosen by participants (57% to 22%). The Gilpin Library and Public Works were the bottom choices (17% to 4%).

Drop boxes for ballot return will remain stationed at the Old Courthouse in Central City, the Community Center on Norton Drive, and Rollinsville Public Works, Tolland Road.

No later than May 27, 2022 the proposed locations will be posted on the Public Notice and Clerk and Recorder pages at gilpincounty.org, with an opportunity for the public to comment on those locations through June 11, 2022 (CRS 1-7.5-105(1)(b)).
