    Again, we need to move people, not cars. In the new design, we need to have separated bicycle lanes and to prioritize bus travel.

Qualities Descriptions

Step 1: Read the descriptions of the qualities below

Vehicular Safety: Fix known unsafe conditions for automobiles traveling on or across Milton Road, Humphreys Street, and US 180 (Fort Valley Road).

Social & Environmental Impacts: Limit the impacts of future investments on low-income populations, minority populations, and environmental resources. For rural areas on US 180, this also includes safe wildlife crossings.

Traffic Movement: Make investments to manage vehicle congestion and improve travel time.

Expanded Travel Choices: Improve conditions, including safety, for walking, biking and riding the bus along and across the roadway (Examples: wider sidewalks, enhanced crossings).

Property Impacts & Project Cost: Minimize impacts to properties and keep project costs lower. Consider grant funding opportunities for construction.

Community Character: Invest in opportunities, such as landscaping, pedestrian seating, and bike racks to make Milton Road, Humphreys Street, and US 180 (Fort Valley Road) more attractive for all users.

Public Support: Favor corridor improvements that receive broad public support.
