Help prioritize strategies developed for embracing the heritage and enhancing the future of the Southside Community
Thank you for participating!
The City and community reviewed the public comments received during the 60 day public review with the Southside Stakeholder Group on Tuesday, February 11.The big topics discussed were the Zoning Code, the Live/Make Center, the Murdoch Center, and the O'Leary FUTS Connection. (meeting minutes).
When will the plan be completed?
There are four more public meetings before the potential adoption of the Southside Community Plan:
- Two public hearings with the Planning and Zoning Commission: These are your best opportunities to provide comments and revisions to the Plan. They are scheduled for April 22, 2020 and May 13, 2020.
- Two meetings with the City Council: These are your best opportunities to voice your support of the Plan. There are scheduled for a work session on May 26, 2020 and then the final public hearing will be on June 2, 2020. The hope is that the Plan becomes officially accepted during this final public hearing with City Council.
All hearing dates are subject to change until they are published in the Arizona Daily Sun.
