Should strategies that reduce personal vehicle use be accompanied by a reduction of parking on-site? Note that there is always a direct and opportunity cost to provide parking that makes each unit more expensive.

    Having lived in the east I can clearly see how car-centric the western mindset is. Any development must provide the opportunity to do without a car and carefully consider how the individual will "resist" including parking on the sidewalk, bike lane or other illegal place.

    • Other - I am against buss passes as the city would then need an enforcement mechanism.
