The Greater Observatory Mesa Trail Plan proposes a trail system for implementation in the Greater Observatory Mesa Area. The plan includes recommendations on restoration/naturalization, new trail alignments, visitor amenities, and appropriate uses. The final trail concept plan will be adopted to direct future management and trail implementation.
The purpose of the following survey is to ensure transparency and solicit community involvement in the plan’s development to make sure the plan preserves the area, supports community values, and provides recreational opportunities. There are 11 questions; two survey questions provide a written feedback opportunity to explain your views and suggestions. It’s highly recommended to complete these questions if you have specific changes you would like to see in the final draft of the plan. Please be as specific and clear as you can by including details about location, solutions, trail identification numbers, etc. The estimated survey response time is 10 to 15 minutes.
This is the second public comment period. The current draft incorporates community input from the first public comment period. Upon the completion of this second public comment period (closes: July 16, 2023), the plan will be revised again using this community and partner input before being released for a final public comment period.
