Flagstaff's library downtown, located at 300 West Aspen Avenue, is an important public space. Its mission is to inspire learning, enrich lives, and strengthen community. The library currently has a project to improve its oudoor entryway (plaza) both in form and function and to enhance its inclusiveness and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance. The redesign creates the opportunity to re-envision the space to create a more welcoming, usable and inspiring public space. This is an opportunity to provide creative input to the designers, the public artist and city staff for the re-design.
