Our country offers fewer industrial services/products to its citizens than ever. Job growth continues when they’re available and when communities get involved. Most of the residents here are working families, bringing a unique quality that is Elk Grove’s own. Since we live in a quaint and diverse area known for its proximity to agriculture why don't we emphasize the fact that we’re an "ORGANIC HAVEN". We can carefully check through the zoning, marking the right establishments. The city already has developed a place called “RAIN GARDEN PARK,” exemplifying a sustainable and water-cleansing drainage system. Well we can develop an “ELK GROVE ORGANICS” a garden where non-GMO veggies, crops and fruits that can be cared for and supervised by us the residents. Community workers could be hired for daily maintenance. Students, young adults, and seniors would be able to volunteer and guide others on what they can grow and harvest. Budget funding would support recreational & cultural facilities that enable workshop for all ages, teaching them how to grow their own crops in their own backyards. This is an industry where everybody can be a part of. In the same respect that our city council members can wisely displace quality dining, retail & entertainment. This helps people’s well-being in general. It will generate a positive, clean, environmental livelihood in the long run. We need an industry where youngsters attain interest in Elk Grove and its surroundings -- agriculturally, environmentally and team building leadership. This way we can be a community that develops an industry helping to educate and nourish family productivity. We all want for ourselves and our neighbors to contribute to a more positively enhanced social and emotional conditions.

Would like Light Rail to extend to south Elk Grove with train station near the proposed sports complex off Grantline. Support E-Tran to reduce congestion on existing roads. Build pedestrian overcrossing over H99 at the new mall and casino. Need our own animal shelter and a library of significant size and standing that it is considered a library for the entire community. Wish we had a heated, indoor pool for use year round by sports teams, the public, and people with medical needs. Improved bus service from neighborhoods to area schools to reduce parent traffic during peak times people are trying to get to work. Maintain high level of police service to keep Elk Grove safe even though residents don't always understand why you staff the way you do. Recruit a Safeway grocery store for the south end of Elk Grove near the 99. Encourage more unique eateries instead of chain restaurants.
