The last time you visited the website, which of the following best describes the topic you were looking for? Other - the building of a library; I have called re: this issue and no response.
Were you able to find what you were looking for on the City site? No
More specifically, what were you looking for? The issue of building a new library. El Cerrito as a whole is one of the most educated areas in California and we have an outdated library. I have donated hundreds of fine books for fundraising over the years and yet no library. Our city should be ashamed of that fact. Let's see if I get a response that is civil and earnest over this.
Which of the following best describes how you plan to use the information you were looking for? For a friend, neighbor or family member outside of my household
Based on the information you found, how likely are you to take some type of action soon? (i.e. apply for a permit, register for a class, attend a meeting, visit a park or facility, provide comments, etc) Not likely
Would you access information from the City of El Cerrito through other electronic channels or devices? (Please select all that apply): E-mail updates
Which of the following sources drove you to visit the site today? Message directly from the City on Twitter
What improvements would you like to see to the City website? Don't know

Word of mouth, City mailing/Communication/Newsletter
Did you know that the City offers email subscriptions for meeting agendas, city events, Environmental Services, Recreation Department news, Community Development Department news, and Police Department news? Yes
In the past year, how many times have you attended a meeting or event hosted by the City of El Cerrito? None
Where do you access the Internet? Check all that apply. Home
Other Comments/feedback: If someone in the management office cannot return a call re: the library issue, I do not think a meeting will help either. I even had another El Cerrito resident ask me if our city is going bankrupt because she sees nothing has been done about the library also. That was embarrassing.

Are there other goals not specified in the previous question? The previous question doesn't specify goals- just categories. For example, we have mulit-modal transit options- just not adequate ones. We need MORE open space and parks WHERE THE EL CERRITO POPULATION IS MOST DENSE. We need a true town center(s)/[ublic spaces where people collect and interact. We need a new library. We need actually to follow the goals we set in our climate action and active transportation plans when development decisions are made. We need more redundancy in alternative transportation options. We need to stop catering to the car driving population over all other.users- not just in plans but in actions. We need our school grounds open to residents' use after school hours and on weekends.
