What are your priorities and concerns surrounding issues of sustainability and climate change in Durango?

The City of Durango is beginning the process of updating its Sustainability Plan. In 2019, City Council set two major sustainability goals: 

• 80% reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050, with 30% reduction by 2030
• 100% renewable electricity supply by 2050, with a 50% supply by 2030 

The goal of the Sustainability Plan is to develop a strategy and identify actions that enable the us to meet these goals while also adapting to projected climate change impacts and improving quality of life for all residents of Durango.

We are using this survey to gauge the community's priorities and concerns surrounding sustainability and climate change to ensure the Sustainability Plan reflects community needs as it works toward City Council goals.
