Any other comments, thoughts, suggestions related to the Durango Public Library?
I appreciate the library being open later M-W because I work long days and cannot get to the library before 5:30 pm and I leave to go to work at 7 am. Often I am unable to make it to the library on Saturdays for any length of time due to other obligations with my family. I would ask that you please consider keeping the library open for part of Sunday. This would really be beneficial not only to me and my schedule but to my High School son who uses the library to study and have meetings with other students. The library is a much better environment for focus and learning than a coffee shop which is where the kids have to meet on Sundays. I have talked with many friends of mine who feel the same way and would use the library on Sundays if it were open.
Virtual City Hall is not a certified voting system or ballot box. As with any public comment process, participation in Virtual City Hall is voluntary. The responses in this record are not necessarily representative of the whole population, nor do they reflect the opinions of any government agency or elected officials.
