What other comments or questions do you have about this issue?
This is just another attempt to increase population density which will lead to more problems that we are already experiencing such as lack of parking, problems with overtaxed sewer lines, noise issues, increase in crime, etc. The city should not be subsidizing development at the expense of taxpayers. This would only lead to a further degradation of quality of life in Durango. Development should pay for itself without subsidy. As a lifelong resident of Durango I have seen many changes, both good and bad, but this proposal would have a very detrimental effect on all citizens quality of life.
