A new regional park is coming to approximately 2,500 acres of the former Concord Naval Weapons Station. After many years of planning, the U.S. Navy began conveyance of the parks portion of the property to the East Bay Regional Park District in July 2019. The Park District Board of Directors will be selecting the name of the new regional park later this Spring. In the meantime, it is being referred to as "Concord Hills Regional Park."
The Park District welcomes the suggestions of a park name through this survey of the Concord community to help inform the Board’s decision. Please select your top choice from the options provided, which have been generated at previous events over the last few years with input from the Concord community.
