We appreciate those who have taken the time to fill out the pedestrian safety survey. However, we have pulled the survey down in response to community concern.
City staff are working with the Michigan Department of Transportation (project sponsor) and the Michigan Fitness Foundation (project consultant) in an effort to re-evaluate the survey and our participation in this initiative. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to do better.

We would like your input on pedestrian and driver behaviors in the City of Ann Arbor to inform a pedestrian education safety campaign being developed. This survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed here. At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to share your contact information to win a $100 gift card. Your survey responses and contact information to win the gift card will not be linked.
This survey is sponsored by the City of Ann Arbor with support from the Michigan Department of Transportation, Michigan Fitness Foundation, and Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation. Your responses will be kept confidential. The survey will close on October 31, 2022 at 5 pm.

As directed in Resolution R-21-129, the City of Ann Arbor is tasked with exploring opportunities for an unarmed response to public safety calls in the city. The City of Ann Arbor has asked Public Sector Consultants (PSC), a Lansing-based, nonpartisan research and consulting public policy firm, to help gather input from a wide variety of community members about how to develop and implement this new program. As a part of this process, PSC is conducting a community survey on the goals, design, and implementation of an unarmed crisis response program.
The survey should take less than 10 minutes. Your responses are confidential and will only be used to inform program development. This survey will close on November 4, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
For more information, please read the City’s Interim Report on Unarmed Police Response, prepared by city administration in December 2021.

During the 2023 construction season, the City of Ann Arbor will conduct work on South Seventh St. between Scio Church Road and Lawton School and on Greenview Dr. between Scio Church Rd. and South Seventh St. The existing water mains require upgrades to increase their capacity and hydrant flow. This is an opportune moment to improve the poor conditions of the street pavement and implement recommendations from the City's Transportation Plan "Moving Together Towards Vision Zero."
We'd like your input to identify concerns and priorities for the project area's proposed active transportation elements. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The survey closes on September 20, 2022.

During the 2021 construction season the City of Ann Arbor will conduct work on South Industrial Highway (from Stadium to Eisenhower) to provide a smoother pavement surface and extend the lifespan of existing concrete. This work provides the opportunity to achieve some of the long-term transportation goals for this corridor, including dedicated bicycle lanes, pavement markings for bicycle left turns at signalized intersections, and pedestrian crossing improvements.
We need your input to gauge community understanding of project concepts and to identify concerns that require additional information and community education. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.

OUTCOME
An update on active transportation features proposed for Barton Drive is now available based on the feedback the city received at the public meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2019, the survey at A2 Open City Hall, various emails and phone conversations, and a field meeting on Monday, October 14, 2019 with affected property owners in sidewalk Zone 2.
Additional engagement will begin in January, 2020 including a Special Assessment Administrative Hearing for affected property owners in sidewalk Zones 1 & 3.

OUTCOME
Results and next steps are summarized below and will be shared at a public information session on Thursday, April 25 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center at Dicken Elementary School (2135 Runnymede Blvd).
- S. Seventh/Scio Church - Concept 4 will be constructed at this location. Visit a2gov.org/scio for more information.
- S.Seventh/Stadium Boulevard - The community discussion about this intersection is on-going. The final decision for this intersection (anticipated late fall/early winter 2019) will be based on community feedback, possible traffic circulation changes, additional data collection, and engineering analysis. At the information session, City of Ann Arbor staff will share results of the March 2019 public engagement and review plans and next steps for the intersections. The information session will be held as an open house. Staff will be available to answer questions. Please join us!

Generally, which of the following best describes your feelings toward the deer population in the City of Ann Arbor?
Between April 6 and April 29, 2016, the city is conducting an A2 Open City Hall online survey to evaluate residents’ interactions with and attitudes about deer in the city of Ann Arbor, as well as, attitudes toward the city’s deer management plan. The survey, available at www.a2gov.org/a2opencityhall, will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. In order for opinions and experiences to be captured, participants must register and sign in to A2 Open City Hall. Although you can choose to provide anonymous feedback, registration is required, which allows results to be mapped by ward.
In consultation with the UM Survey Research Center, survey questions underwent an expert panel review as well as focus group pretesting to minimize bias and ensure question clarity.
Per resolution, City Council directed city staff to conduct an A2 Open City Hall survey in the spring in order to gather feedback about deer management efforts and include responses in a deer management report due to Council in May.

As a result of this feedback and other public input opportunties, the city has posted a second A2 Open City Hall topic which includes design alternatives for consideration along Seventh St. (from Huron to Stadium).
