What comfortable bike routes are needed in Ann Arbor?
The City of Ann Arbor is updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan — a guiding document for the City’s transportation policies, programs, and investments in the transportation network, including roads, sidewalks, paths, bike lanes, and public transit.
Based on our analysis of bicycling conditions in Ann Arbor and input from the November 2019 public open house and the bicycle level of comfort online survey, we have developed a draft network of comfortable to use bike routes. These routes range from local streets that are prioritized for bicycle travel to major streets with separated bike paths, that bicycle riders of most skill levels and abilities, including children, consider acceptably safe for biking. These routes are designed to feel comfortable for people with any given level of tolerance for traffic stress.
Now, we need your feedback on the proposed routes! Please fill out this brief survey to help us refine the proposed network; the survey will remain open until Friday, July 10 at 9:00 a.m.
