on busy streets, like Huron, Stadium and Plymouth, the only safe crossing is the kind near the YMCA. The on demand flashers are not reliable because they are a minor change to the normal traffic pattern - and distracted drivers don't see them. Very dangerous for pedestrians and drivers (rear end collisions).
