Mostly as a driver I find some to many drivers try to "scoot" the pedestrian experience and also the question of bikes/biker behavior becomes problematic because I have frequently encounted bikes ignoring walk/don't walk, flashing lights, are on the side walk, and just don't stop...you really have to take a good look if you are driving to see if one of these individuals is coming up on a situation where the driver has the right of way...I have been afraid that some of them would crash into my car door if I hadn't stopped...or worse...also at some roundabouts (such as Concordia) more needs to be done with flashing lights because drivers heading West and turning right in the right only lane, can't see past drivers scooting through the roundabout itself and there are also several pedestrian walks designated, actually too many in a limited space (3) with students/professors, etc. hurring through not looking as they feel "protected" by the white lines...I and other drivers do our best to abide by the rules, but when someone just steps out in front of you and the car behind you almost hits you from behind and even toots their horn before knowing what the situation is, it becomes icky...I'm super watchful, but maybe a little scared now...
