Do you support filling gaps in the sidewalk system along Fuller Court and Nixon Road/Traver Boulevard ?
In the Summer/Fall of 2020, the City of Ann Arbor is proposing to fill two sidewalk gaps – one along Fuller Court and one along Nixon Road/Traver Boulevard (project area maps provided below). Filling gaps withing the existing sidewalk system will improve walkability of the surrounding neighborhood and throughout the community.
The Fuller Court project area begins at Fuller Road and extends to the just west of the VA Hospital southern drive entrance. The Nixon Road/Traver Boulevard project area runs east-west along Traver Boulevard from Logan Elementary School to Nixon Road, and north-south along Nixon Road from Traver Boulevard to the North Oaks. This project is currently in the design phase; design completion is anticipated in early 2020. Construction is anticipated for Fall 2020. A presentation of project background and information is available (shared at a December 11 public meeting).
