If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area as a pedestrian, what issues have you experienced?
Crossing over the river to access the Border To Border trail is inconvenient. With the new connector by the Amtrak station, things have improved, but I wish there was a a pedestrian-only connection that roughly followed the path of Broadway St.
Further north on Pontiac Trail, many segments of the sidewalk are in poor condition.
If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area by wheelchair, what issues have you experienced?

If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area as a bicyclist, what issues have you experienced?
Lack of bike lanes on the Broadway Bridge. It's very nerve-wracking to have to share that bridge with cars, especially as the road bends. The Healthy Streets pilot program than ran for a few months earlier this year was a godsend in this regard. Please make that two-way lane permanent!
Lack of bike lanes (separated bike lanes would be preferable) on Barton Drive west of Pontiac Trail.
Poor clearing of leaves and other debris from the bike lane on Pontiac Trail.
Poor condition of pavement on some neighborhood streets makes them unappealing for cycling.
The series of intersections along Broadway street just north of the Broadway bridge is extremely unsafe for cyclists. There are too many turn lanes, side streets, driveways, and fast-moving traffic. There is no easy way for cyclists to turn left onto Moore St or to access the B2B trail entrance near the Argo Cascades.
If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area by public transit, what issues have you experienced?
Bus stop on the east side of Broadway near Wall St is awkwardly placed for the 22 bus, which has to swerve across several lanes of traffic to turn left onto Moore/Pontiac Trail to continue the route.

G - Good Conditions
P - Problematic areas
What ideas do you have to improve mobility in the Lower Town area?
More connections to the B2B trail
Better clearance/maintenance of the bike lane on Pontiac Trail
Dedicated two-way bike lane on Broadway (like in the healthy streets pilot program)
Slower speed limit on Plymouth Rd
