If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area by car, what issues have you experienced?
Backups on Division due to narrow streets and confusion around the beginning of the study area; backups in the area of Broadway/Maiden Lane/Swift/Wall; construction and street changes at the new apartments just off of Broadway have made that area behind the new cannabis store/in front of the Cottage Inn, much much more difficult to navigate into and out of local businesses; access to Broadway/Beakes from Summit is confusing with the new street markings and access from Carey is terrible in the summer due to a complete lack of groundskeeping on the green island at the intersection.
Most frustratingly: interacting with cyclists in this area as a motorist is constantly confusing -- cyclists often do not use the new bike lanes and separate infrastructure intended for them, or use it incorrectly (traveling in the wrong direction, switching between sidewalks and bike lanes with no warning, etc) which makes it hard to always know where they are or where to look for them! This is especially frustrating near the study area where my driveway lets out across a bike lane which is obscured by street parking, making it literally impossible to see oncoming cyclists unless I catch sight of them when they turn onto the street. This is dangerous.

If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area by wheelchair, what issues have you experienced?

If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area as a bicyclist, what issues have you experienced?
Crossing the Broadway bridge down to Beakes is nerve wracking -- either you do it on the sidewalk to avoid the cars since I'll be going 2mph over the bridge and have to dodge pedestrians or you do it on the street and get passed by huge numbers of cars going much faster, who generally can't see you once you're coming down the other side before the bike lane starts on the right side. Additionally, the lack of sidewalk in front of the cannabis store makes it hard to get to the sidewalk along Plymouth when coming from the bridge.
If you have traveled through the Lower Town study area by public transit, what issues have you experienced?
No response.
Which spots do you consider to have good conditions and which spots are problematic for you when traveling in the Lower Town area?
G - Good Conditions
P - Problematic areas
What ideas do you have to improve mobility in the Lower Town area?
Move the crosswalk across the Carey Street end of the Broadway bridge to come from the green island to the left of Carey street -- Division as it comes up there is a one way, so as a motorist, I only need to look to my left for oncoming traffic, except then the crosswalk is to the right, so particularly cyclists can appear where I didn't expect them very suddenly as I'm making my turn!
