Additional Comments - Open Spaces & Central Gardens:

Please don't make it difficult for the residents of Alameda to be able to access the facilities. Please keep it open & free. Also, please start drawing plans for Alameda's own Universal Healthcare. I'm sure local residents wouldn't mind paying a reasonable city tax if you cover everyone with "free" healthcare. Whoever is able to implement this would probably have a shot at becoming President of United States in the future!

It's not green enough. Also, it feels incomplete (plenty of open spaces). Also, I don't see any areas designated to renewable energy farming (solar, wind).

Let's be careful in planning this. We don't want to overcrowd Alameda. Tall office buildings is not good for traffic either.

This is going to overcrowd Alameda. There will be too much traffic. I'd stick with 2 (20') all around.

OPEN SPACES & the CENTRAL GARDENS

The open spaces in the Main Street Neighborhood are an integral part of the overall open space framework for Alameda Point. Urban agriculture and a network of smaller parks and community gathering spaces and mixed-use trails are envisioned to reinforce the historic and small town qualities of the City of Alameda.

The 3.3-acre Central Gardens acts as the distinct focal point of the community that knits the new mixed use neighborhood together.

What is a disruptive statement?

A statement

containing personal attacks, profanity, commercial advertising or content which is entirely off-topic, and/or
