Never put the bike lane between parked cars and a sidewalk. They did this on Shoreline Drive and it has ruined a great street and made things unsafe for cars, bikes and pedestrians. Do not reduce a 4 lane road to 2 lanes.

Never put the bike lane between parked cars and a sidewalk. They did this on Shoreline Drive and it has ruined what was a great street and made things unsafe for cars, bikes and pedestrians. We do not need both a bike lane and a cycle track lane. Leave pedestrians on the sidewalk wherenthey belong as they will obstruct the bike path.

Never reduce a road from 4 lanes to two lanes if avoidable. I like the buffered bike lane version, but eliminate the buffers.
